WHO WE ARE

Cornerstone Bible Church of Sonora is dedicated to teaching the whole counsel of God’s Word in order to equip believers to share the good news of Jesus Christ with boldness [Ephesians 6:19-20].

We seek to be a light in this community for the Kingdom of God as we corporately fulfill the Great Commission [Matthew 28:18-20].

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and that it is authoritative, inerrant, and sufficient for everything we need for “life and godliness” [2 Peter 1:3-4].

We seek to have everything we do glorify Jesus Christ who died on Calvary, overcame death, and sits today at the right hand of God interceding for us [Romans 8:34]

Therefore, as long as it is called today, we will encourage one another to be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord so that our labor will not be in vain [1 Cor. 15:58].
